Working with schools and colleges a focus on effective partnerships for student success providing a range of resources and relationships: some examples of established and emerging partnerships

Fabulous first year teaching, assessment, transition to independent study and transition to independent life universal peer mentoring and student-to-student engagement the ‘learning gain’ project: developing measurements and interventions for increased success professional dispositions: entitlements, obligations, values and behaviours

A new undergraduate offer: major/minor pathways three kinds of pathways: single (one subject area), major/minor (Subject A WITH Subject B) and joint (Subject A AND Subject B) the distinctively flexible quality: students create their own major/minor combinations, and can (normally) adjust after the first year first cohort of major/minor students enrol in September, with more than forty minors in combination with new and existing discipline majors rolling out across science disciplines for 2017-8 applications working on ‘student journey’ for students enrolled in minors
