Objectives The student will be able to:: 1. graph linear equations. 2. write equations in point- slope form.

The x-intercept is where the graph crosses the x-axis. The y-coordinate is always 0. The y-intercept is where the graph crosses the y-axis. The x-coordinate is always 0. (2, 0) (0, 6)

1. Plot the y-intercept. 2. Use the slope to find new points on the graph. 3. Connect the points with a straight line.
