6. MELROSE RURAL CLUSTER Property Owner Request Request by property owner in Melrose area to initiate special area study and plan for Melrose Rural Cluster. Plans for residential subdivision on 28 acres located outside of Rural Cluster boundary. Property within Rural Cluster may have up to 2 dwelling units per acre. Property in surrounding Rural/Agriculture area may have up to 1 dwelling per 5 acres.

7. MELROSE RURAL CLUSTER Comprehensive Plan Background Rural Clusters are existing rural settlements outside of Urban Cluster. Boundary generally defined as developed area ½ mile from center point of community. Area studies and plans for Rural Clusters may be initiated by County or private applicant.
