We complete our Agendas together as soon as we return from Recess. Everything that needs to be recorded in the Agenda is written on the Promethean Board. Please ask your child to share their Agenda with you each evening. That way you will be informed of all upcoming projects, and tests.
8
Students have a To Do folder where they are to place all assignments they are working on. This folder goes home with them each evening and returns to school with them each morning. Between their Agendas and To Do folders, your child will have everything they need to complete assignments.
9
* Students are expected to complete all classroom assignments in a timely manner. * Please be assured that ample time is given in class to complete these assignments. * If students use their time wisely, it is not necessary for these assignments to be finished at home. ** We encourage parents to assist students, but the work should be that of the student.

* If a graded activity is not turned in the day it is due, it will receive a grade level lower for every day it is late. * On the third day it will receive a grade of “F”. * For example, if an “A” paper is late: * 1 st day late = B * 2 nd day late = C * 3 rd day late = F * Students record assignments in their Agendas as a group with me every day.
13
Attendance is very important since the information presented orally cannot be reproduced for the student when they return. Please make every effort to arrange any appointments outside school hours, when possible. Students will have as many days as they were absent to complete the work that was assigned during their absence.
