3 SCOPE OF WORK The Service provider shall furnish on a continuous 24-hour basis for the defined period with fully trained (as defined in paragraph 8 of this document) male and female uniformed Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) registered security officers. The Service provider shall be required to provide personnel with PSIRA Grades C for the various tasks required by this project. The duties of the Services Provider’s officers shall be those specified herein. Shifts to be covered and shift times: Day shift:06:00 – 18:00 Night shift:18:00 – 06:00 Weekends and Public Holidays Dayshift:06H00 - 18H00 Weekends and Public Holidays Nightshift:18H00 - 06H00 The security services shall be required at the Majuba Rail Project Offices and at various sites as per the project plan. In addition to structural buildings and construction yards, security services will also be required during the construction of the physical railway line as well as the associated structures. 2016/06/123

4 SCOPE OF WORK CONT…. The services will be required at the entry/access points detailed hereunder in accordance with existing security procedures. Please note that these locations are subject to change, in alignment with the construction and security operational requirements. KM 06 KM 41 KM 47 Koppieskraal UCG MRP offices Any other point as determined in accordance with identified risks 2.5The Service Provider shall furnish Eskom Holding SOC Ltd (ESKOM) with four (4) site supervisors performing site inspections during dayshift (2) and night shift (2), seven days a week respectively. The site supervisor shall be duly responsible for the supervision of the security officers assigned to Majuba Rail Project. 2016/06/124

Proof of Firearms control act 60 of 2000, regulation 21 training. Firearm Safety plan /Ammunition management plan Copy of Identity Document (ID) of guards Medical certificate of guards List of patrol vehicles and registration number of vehicles 2016/06/125

8 TENDER EVALUATION OBJECTIVES THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TENDER PROCESS ARE INTENDED TO ENSURE THAT:  Procure security services through the prescribed legal, commercial, and ethical requirements;  Mitigate the risk of procuring goods and services that are substandard; and  Ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements  Provide equal opportunities to all the bidders 2016/06/128
