Primary Dewatering Processes Belt Filter Press, 12-14% Solids Screw Press, 30-32% Solids Replacement of entire system to include new dewatering equipment, inlet valves, sludge pipeline, electrical system, polymer system, flow meter, conveyors, holding area, instrumentation and structure

Secondary Clarifiers Replacement of entire system to include new drive shafts, inlet valves, energy displacement baffles, flights, chains, wear shoes, weirs and scum troughs Increased reliability, stability and capacity of the biology system and compliance

Blowers Existing natural gas blowers were replaced with high efficiency electric turbo blowers Saving the city an average of $8,000 per month in utility fees

Aeration Basins Replacement of entire system to include new stainless steel piping, diffusers, fiberglass walls, valves, and instrumentation Increased reliability, stability and capacity of the biology system and compliance

Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Replacement of entire system to include new programmable logic controllers, human machine interface, fiber optic lines, servers, computers, instrumentation and program Provides real-time monitoring and controls and the ability to track and trend the system
