Structure of the Report Based on following criteria: Investigating Planning Taking action Reflecting o You must also have an introduction and conclusion o Word limit: 1500-3500 words

Introduction o Introductory remarks related to your project o Brief description of your project and how it relates to global contexts & ATLs addressed. Explain why and how. Do not write: I learned a lot of things about myself and my project.

Investigation A variety of sources are required! Try for about 5. These can include: Interviews Websites Books Magazines Make sure sources are not all the same type.

Planning Explain your planning steps. What What Where Where When When How How Why Why Look back to your process journal!

Taking Action/Implementation o Explain how you implemented those planning steps. Were they effective? Why or why not?

Reflection Look through process journal. Summarize the progression of your experiences and feelings.

The Written Report: Works Cited Google MLA format and find the OWL at Purdue website. * They have the format for absolutely every type of source you can possibly have. * Include any interviews, websites, books magazines, recordings, films, video games---EVERYTHING you used. * If for any reason you can’t find it, check with me for the correct formatting.

The Written Report: Appendices These are attachments you place at the end of your paper, if applicable- i.e. they are not required. They can be: Pictures of the process Samples of materials Rough drafts of project Preliminary sketches Interviews

Other Important Stuff Presentation is important. Make sure your project and paper are: Neat Organized Clean

Final thoughts Give your project, report, and journal to your advisor in an organized and self-contained manner. MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS ON EVERYTHING. EXAMPLES: In a gift bag/paper grocery bag with everything inside. Check with your supervisor if the size of your project prevents this. NO PLASTIC BAGS! DON’T WALK IN ON THE DAY IT’S DUE AND THROW ALL YOUR STUFF ON YOUR SUPERVISOR’S DESK!!! Do not ask your supervisor about the grade. Your final grade will be revealed AFTER everything is recorded. Due March 7 th ! Personal Project is worth 50 pts in this class. Due March 7 th !
