How did this story relate to the world around me? This story reminded me of when I tried to be friends with someone and their friends didn't like me, so they told her to stay away from me. This story reminds of East Side Dreams. The character in East Dreams did not make good choices just like Pony Boy in The Outsiders. They both kept getting into trouble because of fighting. This story reminds of the world because a lot of kids don't have their fathers or mothers at home. They make bad choice and get into trouble when they think no one is caring for them.
