Christians are to profess godliness by the clothing they wear. 1 Timothy 2:8-10 Holiness and godliness are to be visible attributes (cf. Titus 2:12). Godliness is a devoutness and reverence characterized by a God-ward focus and priority in doing all to please God.

Christians are to profess godliness by the clothing they wear. What we wear does matter to God? What are we announcing to everyone who sees us when we wear clothes that are too high or too low, too tight or too thin, which reveal the midriff, chest, breasts or thighs?

Eyes are windows into the heart and mind. “The eye is the lamp of the body;…” (Matthew 6:22) Turning-away-from-evil Job made a covenant with his eyes (Job 31:1) Our eyes can cause us to sin (Matthew 18:9). “My eyes are continually toward the L ORD,…” (Psalm 25:15).
