Literacy Objective: (aka – bell work) LA Strand: Standard 8: Integrate and evaluate content presented in diverse media and formats, including visually and quantitatively, as well as in words. In eMarion, open the tab for Operating Systems. Review the standards for the unit with your shoulder partner, then click on the icon for the lesson, Operating Systems. Review the articles and explain what an operating system is and why you need it. Be sure to write in paragraph format (4-6 sentences) with correct spelling, proper grammar, and punctuation. I will demonstrate proper keying technique and improve my knowledge of the alphabetic keys. I will identify operating system file naming conventions. I will demonstrate proficiency with file management and structure. I will demonstrate a working knowledge of standard file formats.
