DISCUSSION BOARD Topic 1: Reading Styles Topic 1: Reading Styles –In Chapter 4 of Cornerstone, there are a couple of activities that will help you determine how you read. You might want to complete them before responding to this week's discussion question. Think about these questions as you go to the Discussion Board and respond to the following: What strategies do you use when you read? Do these strategies differ based on the purpose of your reading? If so, how? For example, consider how reading a novel for pleasure may differ from reading assignments for school. Or, if you do not think you use a reading style right now, what have you learned this week that you can begin practicing? What areas of your reading style do you need to develop?
