AN INDEX IS ASSIGNED TO EACH U.S. AIRPORT THAT IS AN FAA PART 139 CERTIFICATE HOLDER INDEX IS DETERMINED BY A COMBINATION OF CRITERIA: LENGTH OF AIRCRAFT..INDEX E @ LEAST 200.’ AVERAGE DAILY DEPARTURES OF AIRCRAFT. INDEX LEVEL DETERMINES LEVEL OF FIRE PROTECTION THREE ARRF RIGS…MINIMUM. AT LEAST 6000 GALLONS H20 COMBINED IN ALL THREE RIGS. MUST HAVE A SODIUM-BASED DRY CHEMICAL(HALON.CLEAN AGENT) AND A POTASSIUM- BASED DRY CHEMICAL. AT LEAST 3000 GALLONS OF FOAM COMBINED IN ALL THREE RIGS.
