KEY CONCEPTS Geography impacted adaptation of Native –Americans: the land made them learn how to survive. They used local animals and plants for food, weapons, and shelter. The development of agricultural techniques led to cultural and political developments among native groups :because they could stay in one place and grow crops they began to have time to socialize. Their group size increased which caused a need for political order.
