Making the Connection
2
MtC aims to connect the communities of the sub-region with local employment opportunities presented by regeneration projects, inward investment and business growth. MtC aims to meet employers needs by providing and easy and seamless way of addressing workforce provision and training needs. Linking with the communities local to these opportunities, MtC aims to provide access to work via targeted training and support. Making the Connection – the Aims
3
Making the Connection – the Process MtC is a cohesive way of working rather than a single organisation, project driven unit. The MtC model is a partnership controlled and holistic approach to maximising local community benefits; both as a result of developments on key strategic sites in the area and by working outwards from local community groups. Activities adjust to reflect the changing needs of the areas businesses and the requirements for a skilled and adaptable workforce.
