Arrival at Cortina o 4:00am o Front Parking lot o Be on time!

Leaving promptly at 4:15am Breakfast should be packed for your child. We will not be stopping on the way there. Buses leave for Grand Canyon

Arriving between 8:30 and 9:00 Drop off near park headquarters near Yavapai Lodge Arrive at the Grand Canyon

Each class will meet their Ranger at their designated time and location.- See packet for details Park Headquarters is within walking distance from Yavapai Lodge Travel to Class Location

Lunch at Yavapai Cafeteria, Maswik Food Court Students can purchase lunch from cafeteria or bring a sack lunch from home. Lunch

Activities Outside of Ranger Led Class Students will be with their chaperones at this time. Chaperones will decide on activities. Mather Point Grand Canyon Video Gift Shop Trail Walks Museum at visitors center Pictures If you plan to follow behind this is the time you will get to spend with your student. Please be aware they need to stay with their chaperone at ALL times.

All classes will meet at Visitors Center near Mather Point by 3:30 Buses leave promptly at 4:00pm Bus Departure

Students not riding the bus home If you will be taking your kids home, you need to let us know in writing ahead of time. Parents will need to sign out with their child's teacher before leaving.

Stopping in Flagstaff to pick up dinner Eating on the bus Pizza provided by our wonderful PTO! 2 slices of pizza and a soda or water. Students will not be getting off of the bus. Dinner on the Road

Arriving between 9:00 and 9:30pm Phone Tree Arrive back at Cortina

$25 Vehicle entry fee (feel free to carpool) When you arrive park near Yavapai Lodge Cafeteria (Do not follow bus – buses have special areas to park) Rangers have requested that only chaperones attend the class. Parents who wish to follow

Daily Medication If your student takes a daily medication before or after school, please make sure you send it in with directions on how to take it. Anything the students take during school hours will be sent from the nurse and carried with their chaperone.

Backpack to carry belongings Small pillow/blanket (left on bus) Camera Electronics for the road trip Money for lunch and gift shop Light jacket, hat, sunscreen, close toed shoes Motion sickness medication if needed Students will be responsible for their own belongings. What can your child bring?
