Identity and Visibility Issues of ‘duel identity’?.....how important is the Brookes Experience anyway? visibility and distinctiveness access to opportunities: awareness of ‘entitlements’ and events

Pre-arrival and induction experiences “I really want to come to Brookes… …for a meaningful experience” Separate out the process of enrolment from induction/orientation Pre-arrival correspondence can be confusing Induction experiences are variable

On-programme Our partners do some really good stuff positively influenced by small class sizes, vocationally- trained/experienced staff, concentrated timetables… We do some really good complementary stuff positively influenced by our academic/scholarly activity, experience in (critical) skills development, graduate employability…. Part of our distinctiveness: Graduate Attributes (GAs) More info to follow in the Faulty workshops this afternoon

‘Other’ e.g. Student Support Who does what and where? Simply a matter of clarifying and signposting? Need to be mindful of equality of access across the ACP Partners remain the primary point of contact BUT Student Support maps will be available AND…..there will be the Professional Network Hub
