Model description Modular Ocean Model version 3 (MOM3) developed at GFDL/NOAA 3D primitive eq. in spherical coordinates under Boussinesq and hydrostatic approximation 75°S to 75°N, 54 vertical level, etopo2 K-profile parameterization(Large et al. 1994) CFC- concerned

Model runs and outputs 50-year climatological runs applied NCEP/NCAR reanalysis mean from 1950-1998. After spin-up, the model is driven by daily mean wind stresses obtain from NCEP/NCAR reanalysis for a period from 1950-2008.
