Right vs. Right Easy choices are right vs. wrong –One clear path –Lead to comfortable outcomes Difficult choices are right vs. right –Not one clear path –Conflicting choices – no comfortable outcome –These choices define who we are, our character

Personal Integrity Consistent in who we are –Predictable to others –Have a central core Basis in personal values –Formed by choices –Lifetime of growth

Values Connected to feelings –Strong feelings point to values –Remorse points to values conflict (wrong choice) Accessible by self-knowledge –Story writing or story telling –Underlying values

Take-Away Lessons Know your own personal values Act in ways that are consistent Set priorities by your own values Lack of self-knowledge is a ship without a rudder
