Term to date In May, the UK’s new Section was inaugurated by Professor Bill Bahnfleth followed by a technical presentation on bEQ The members council voted unanimously for a new Section in Ireland in July. Board in place before the end of 2015 Benelux Section activities quiet in 2015. Members looking for a new board Cyprus Section currently changing the board. Planned to attend the 5th International Conference on Renewable Energy Sources & Energy Efficiency. Bassam Elassad attended the Energy and Environment in Ships in Athens on refrigerant alternatives for marine vessels and represented ASHRAE at UNEP ECA conference in Yerevan Multi Chapter Distinguished Lecture organized successfully in 2015 with visits to Greece and Portugal Meeting with the IERC in Ireland for possible collaboration in future events Special thanks to both Spain and Turkey for 2 wonderful CRC’s

3. 12 month look ahead Support for study on RAL Strategic Plan and impacts on Sub Region B Support for all Chapters, Sections and members in the sub region Discuss with existing Chapter\ Section boards on opportunities for inter collaboration Discuss with kindred societies in Europe on possible collaboration Explore ways to connect with members not associated with an existing Chapter or Section Explore possibilities to increase the number of student branches in the Sub Region Assist new boards in Ireland, UK and BeNeLux Multi Chapter Distinguished Lecture visit in Q1\Q2 2016
