Weekly homework Homework sent home on a Monday to be returned the following Monday. We will send out new homework with previous work that has been marked with next steps (you can keep this as we will take a copy for school records). Hand in on a Monday morning. This will happen for 5 weeks.

Reminder of the process Talk using the planning sheet Fill in the planning sheet with dry wipe pens – don’t worry about spelling or handwriting and write one or 2 words only. Talk using the recount sentence sheet – fill in any gaps verbally where children struggle so they have the words to write down. Write down full sentences in pencil using good handwriting on paper provided. Focus on different tools each week, or if you child is ready/ keen 1 or 2. We will highlight in marked work what to focus on.
