1. Need PASSION for whatever he/she loves doing - Math / Science (more MIT) - Art - Music - Sports - Dance - Architecture - Politics - History - Writing Etc. etc…

Take new initiatives and show dedication Examples: ◦ - Volunteering weekly at a homeless shelter and hospital for two years ◦ - Finding and competing in regional science fairs and math competitions (KSEA!). ◦ - Founding and leading a Science Honor Society (student club) ◦ - Running track & field and swimming for four years ◦ - Singing at Maryland All-state and All-County Chorus for four years ◦ - Fill your own activity here!
