Dues - Voluntary Due for 2016 beginning November 14, 2015 Why should you volunteer to pay dues? The dues go to cover VC promotion, insurance, administrative and mailing expenses. PENA and MRNA neighborhoods have a responsibility under city ordinance to control weeds in the right-of-way and to maintain the monument signs at the entrance to each neighborhood. Coordination cutting and removal of weeds to avoid fines. PENA has a responsibility to maintain a few small ponds, the neighborhood side of the trails along the monument and the coordination of group Post Office boxes. MRNA property owners benefit from an organization that protects the neighborhood by enforcing the covenants. Undeveloped areas of the Volcano Cliffs Subdivision (VC) benefit from an organization that can be a focal point for individual owner collaborations and has encouraged development and can be a political voice for these property owners.
18
