3. Animal Rights These are rights believed to belong to Animals to live freely rather than used for medical reasons. The main idea behind animal rights is that, people believe in animals having rights just as much as humans do. A lot of people who are for animal rights are known as “Animal Rightists” which are people who help support the freedom of animals and their rights to live peacefully and be treated with the same respect as any human in the world.

4. Animal Rights Issues “Why animal Rights?” Some people believe that the basic principle of equality does not require an equal or identical treatment, but it requires equal consideration. They also believe that animals highly deserve to live their lives freely from ANY and ALL suffering and exploitation. People who support animal rights believe that animals have an inherent worth a value, completely separate from their usefulness to humans and their needs. They also believe that every creature with the will to live has a right to live free, away from pain, suffering, abuse, neglection, etc. They think of animal rights as a philosophy but also as a social movement that challenges the society’s view.

7. Animal Welfare Animal welfare is the well-being and respect of and for animals. This is also known as the Animal Welfare Act (A.W.A) which was signed into law in 1966. This act is the only Federal law in the U.S that can and does regulate the treatment of all or any animals in any kind of researches, exhibitions, transportations, and anything with involvement of dealers This Act, though, is enforced by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) and APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service)

Animal Welfare Guidelines Also known as standards, which have been developed in a collaboration with all scientists, veterinarians, researchers and farmers all across the globe to maximize a practicable, high-welfare farm management with the environment. They are also one of the only two labels in the U.S. requiring audited, high-welfare slaughter practices, and is the only label that also requires pasture access for all types of any animals involved.

9. Animal Welfare Issues Some issues for Animal Welfare are Skinned for fur, Animal Cruelty, Animal Fighting, Abuse, Slaughtering. There are also, animals used for Factory Farming, and Experiments in laboratories. People are super stupid and don’t see that we are actually taking care of the dern animals. Because I'm dern sure about it. (Brandon’s commentary)
