2. (1)Renovation of Fluid Flow Measurement Laboratory (estimated cost US$ 100K) The renovation work of the laboratory is continuing since October 2010 and it is on the verge of completion.

5. We are developing a prototype water flow calibration system (Primary Standard of water Flow) of size DN100. The installation and integration of various parts of this system i.e. weighing tanks, load cells, flow control valves, drain valves, flowmeters, On/Off valves, diverter, fishtail, pneumatic pipes, pressure regulator devices, etc. have been completed. Presently Automation of the System is in Progress. (2) Development of the Prototype Water Flow Calibration System (as per ISO 4185)

11. 3. Water Meter Testing Facility Presently the Group provides the Water Meter Testing Services up to 50 mm (i.e. 2”) diameter size as per IS 779, IS 6784 and ISO 4064 to the Water Meter Manufacturing Companies, State Govt. Water Boards, etc. These meters are of Woltman type.

13. 4. Planned for Gas Flow Calibration Facility We have received the grant of US$ 500K for establishment of Gas Flow Calibration Facility (both Primary and Working/ Transfer Standards). Very soon, we are going for Global Tender for the Transfer Standards. The flow range is 0.001 lpm to 1000 lpm and expanded uncertainty (at k=2) is 0.20%.
