Advantages of IMS Sensitive for VOCs: Detection limit - low ppbv / µg/L range Specific drift times due to substance characteristic ions Special: Can distinguish isomeres Approved technology: in military and security field GC IMS

UV-IMS Summary Pattern /”Fingerprint” for a certain class/attribute (good, bad, fresh etc.) Single substances can be identified due to characteristic IMS chromatogram and NIST-based data based Detection limits for VOCs in the low ppb v / µg/L range Short total analysis run times of typically 3-15 minutes No sample preparation necessary Rugged, no consumables (only N 2 or synthetic air) Easy to use
