Aims to engage with a quick overview of examinations at 16 and the status of geography in the 14 -16 curriculum; learn about coursework and decision-making exercises. to consider standards at GCSE Objectives know the ways by which geography can be carried forward for all or most pupils beyond 14, through, for example, GCSEs in Humanities, Leisure, Travel and Tourism, or non GCSE courses; Be aware of procedures for assessing pupils at GCSE, including moderation

2010-21011 Stability At Last ?? 2001 An array of examination syllabuses introduced at KS4 and offered by 4 main Examination Boards at GCSE level Examination Boards also make syllabuses available below GCSE and at IB Subjects associated with Geography also offered at GCSE level as short courses and GNVQ 2009 A streamlined selection of syllabuses made available from the 3 main exam boards, AQA, EdExcel and OCR Summer 2010, the final terminal exams for old syllabuses Summer 2010, the first of the staged GCSEs examined 2013 and beyond, new Government policy?
