Examples: Evacuation Scenario The scenario is that you are in charge of the evacuation plans for when Mount Vesuvius next erupts. The next eruption could cover an area of 30km from the volcano with 2m of ash. You need to find out: 1.Where is the 30km boundary? 2.How many people live within 30km of the volcano? 3.How far can people travel in 1 hour, 1.5 hours and 2 hours from the centre of Naples?
