2 What is Red Ribbon Week? Red Ribbon Week is a week that is dedicated to focusing on drug awareness. Each school in the Coweta County School System uses this time to educate students on the harmful affects that drugs have on the human body as well as the community.

3 SRMS Participates in Red Ribbon Week Parent volunteers hang red ribbons Builders Club –Sale of Red “drug free” bracelets –Distribute “I pledge to be drug free” stickers –Sponsor anti-drug slogans/door decorations –Sponsor Red Ribbon Week Assembly SRMS PTA sponsors “Parent Talk” Believe, achieve, succeed…drug free

4 Decorated Doors & Slogans If you smoke you’ll croak! Hand in hand, let’s take a stand against drugs. Can’t you see? The way to be is drug free! Drugs are a one-way ticket to death. I can be You can be We all can be Drug free Be a hero Not a zero Don’t take drugs!
