2. General information LHC-TS3: from Mon 9 Nov @ 6am, to Fri 13 Nov @ 5pm LHC beam stops on Mon morning at 6:00 AM. Cavern access starts at 9:00 AM, after the RP check. – Switch off both magnets: 6:00 AM  SL – take out interlock keys – RP check: 8:30 - 9:00  Andre Access mode: automatic restricted (with token) The underground access will stop on Fri at 16:00 PM Tunnel access (around P2): from Monday midday to Friday midday. 3. UX25 access Access possible from Mon 9:00 to Fri 16:00 except the following slots: – UX25: Wed between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM: siren and evacuation button test (GS-ASE) Fri between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM: cavern lift maintenance (EN-HE) – L3: Mon between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM : confined space course – Miniframe: No access  check with Arturo 28/08/15TS3 preparatory meeting3

4. Detector activities ITS: services verifications TPC: – laser maintenance – access a few IROCs on the upper A side to make sure the HV connection is ok (half day) MCH: – change one quadrant on station 2, CH3L (Indian colleagues) – change few slats: one on CH5L and others on CH7R and CH8R (if possible) – Nacelle needed on I-side MTG: minor maintenance activities foreseen: – one noisy trigger cable. A diagnostic in-situ is needed but we'll probably have to replace the connector(s) – one faulty FE card. We'll need to open MT12-outside in order to access the card and then we'll probably install a spare (from nacelle or scaffolding) – (PH-DT): replace membrane on gas pump (switch to spare, stop 20’) 28/08/15TS3 preparatory meeting4

5. Detector activities PHOS: – Dismount the PHOS STU, change the SIU card and mount STU back, then test the fiber connection – Hopefully for the task we (2-3 person) need 1-2 days access to L3 (9.11 afternoon and 10.11 are preferable) EMC/DCA: – Check FECs and TRUs – Install the SRU cooling prototype (Wed) – We need at least 3 days (6 shifts) of access, if possible, and a watcher will be provided, if needed Т0: minor maintenance activities foreseen – Investigation problems in restore_after_ramp (access to C-racks) CTP: change INT board 28/08/15TS3 preparatory meeting5

6. Detector activities TOF: – Rack O30 to be checked by EN-EL (two PSs and one notch filter in this rack found damaged) (with Andre) After this intervention: – check/replacement of CAEN 48V Power Supply A3485A – Install two CAEN notch filters NF3000 – Three HV connectors to be reworked inside L3 (sectors A-03 and C-12). Welding needed: smoke detection off? – Replacement of 3 DCDC converters in sector C-05, C-10 and C-16. – Finalize Ethernet redundancy (connect power supply) TRD: routine checks and maintenance operations (outside L3) – Cleaning cooling pipes of some Wiener PS (access to galleries I and O side) – Routine check of all Ethernet switches and MUXes (access to galleries I and O side, and C-area) – Inspection of optical fibers at the GTU (access to C-area) 28/08/15TS3 preparatory meeting6
