6. Winter Sports Highlights Wrestling won the 2016 ACC Championship, is ranked #2 in the nation and is sending 8 (of 10 possible) wrestlers to NCAA Championships March 17-19. Men's Swimming & Diving won the 2016 ACC Championship for its first back-to-back titles since 1981 and '82. Ranked #1 nationally, competes at NCAA Championships March 23-26. Women's Swimming & Diving finished 2nd at ACCs, its highest since 1982. Currently ranked #7 nationally and competes at NCAA Championships March 16-19. Women's Basketball finished tied for 5th (of 15) in the ACC regular season. Senior Ashley Williams named ACC Kay Yow Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Men's and Women's Track & Field both finished in the Top 20 at NCAA Indoor Championships for the first time since 1991, Gymnastics is 15-2 on the year heading into conference championships this weekend. The team is ranked #33 nationally.

12. Compliance Steering Committee Mission: –Promote excellence in NC State’s compliance efforts to assure compliance with its legal, regulatory, and ethical responsibilities. Charge: –Establish priorities for COWG. –Discuss new and revised compliance policies, regulations or rules. –Provide direction on notices issued by regulators, reports made to compliance hotlines, and any related investigations. –Monitor and oversight over incidents and violations.

Compliance Officials Working Group Mission: –Assist Steering Committee in promoting a culture and understanding of and adherence to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and provide compliance leadership in academic and administrative units. Charge: –Review and monitor ongoing compliance activities. –Report activities to Steering Committee and Board of Trustees Audit, Risk Management and Finance Committee. –Identify new and emerging areas of compliance risk. –Recommend coordinated compliance initiatives designed to address compliance risks.
