4. Let’s make a game – you against computer Open Kodu Game Lab Select ‘New world’ Create a race track Add to the landscape – trees, rocks, hills etc Add 2 cycles - 2 different colours Add a line of code to make it move via arrow keys Second cycle follows a path (or WASD)

Making a simple game Add finish line using different ‘type’ of land Programme each cycle to be able to ’win’ Add game description – instructional writing Add a countdown to increase level of excitement TEST your game thoroughly Add a few more features – health bars, obstacles etc Add sounds to the game either as background or events Play your final game – try someone else’s too!
