16 Exceptional Patient Experience “Thank you for looking after me following my surgery, your kindness and professionalism will be remembered during a difficult time for me and my family.” “The care and diligence she has received is second to non and has been very reassuring and a huge help towards recovery and our peace of mind. Many many thanks” “The relatives room is stark and the seating uncomfortable.” “There is no television or toys in the relatives room, these would be a welcome addition when waiting for longer periods”

17 Highly Skilled Workforce It was nice to look after long term patients who the team knows well and getting to know the patients with chronic conditions and seeing how they are managed. Including how well they are looked after in MHDU” “Felt welcomed by all staff and part of the team” “Learning how to look after patients on NIPPY and BIPAP vision” “New learning opportunities, exposure to level 3 ventilated patients”

18 What our team says Donnah and Jenny are the biggest asset and attraction of E12, they are people people, go the extra mile and always have time. Issues are resolved in a timely manner, and the support that they have given me and many of our colleagues has been phenomenal, we really couldn’t ask for better. I have flown in the 18 months I have been here and that’s just me, I’m sure many others will have similar stories. They really want E12 and its and its staff to succeed. Having HCA’s who enjoy clinical work is such a blessing, relieving them of stores duties and allowing them to do what they’ve been employed to do is amazing for the nurses and I think that’s what most of them want to do. The flow of information and communication between senior and junior is excellent, as a 6 and a conduit between senior and junior, I feel that staff are well informed and where possible openness and honesty are apparent. Everyone's views are considered in the running of unit i.e. staff forums Involvement of all staff from band 2 to band 7 in benchmarking and link roles.
