9. Some basic Rules: * The places of subject and object in sentence are inter-changed in passive voice. * 3 rd form of verb (past participle) will be used only in passive voice * Auxiliary verb for each tense are given below in the table.

10. Change the voice If the principle verb is present form:- Structure: Object + am/is/are + verb 3 rd + by + subject. Active- They help the poor. Passive- The poor is helped by them. Active- He sells some mangoes. Passive- Some mangoes are sold by him.

11. Change the voice. If the principle verb is past form:- Structure: Object + was/were + verb 3 rd + by + subject Active- She made a plan. Passive-A plan was made by her. Active- You showed us a picture. Passive- we were showeda picture by you
