RELIEF WELL DESIGN BASIC CONCEPT AT LEAST 3 RELIEF WELLS PROPOSED TO ENSURE 2 OF THEM HIT THE TARGETS SELECTED WELL SURFACE LOCATIONS: –FAR AWAY FROM NEARBY HOUSES & PUBLIC ACTIVITIES –FIRM & STABLE TOP SOIL @ SURFACE –EASY ACCESS FOR LOGISTIC SUPPORTS –SUFFICIENT SPACE FOR DRILLING RIG COMPLEX & ITS EQUIPMENT CONFIRMED BOTTOM HOLE TARGETS: –BJP #1 WELL DATA VALIDITY CONSERVATIVE CASING DESIGN TO SECURE THE UPPER HOLE SECTIONS AND TO ENSURE WE CAN REACH THE BOTTOM HOLE TARGET –BJP #1 WELL & OFFSET WELLS DATA –ADDITIONAL DATA ACQUISITION (INCL. 3D SEISMIC & SHALLOW HAZARD SURVEY –“BIG” CASING ON BOTTOM (9-5/8” ??) TO ENSURE HIGH RATE PUMPING CAPABILITY –ALL AVAILABLE DRILLING TECHNOLOGY POSSIBLE UTILIZATION

POTENTIAL CHALLENGES EXISTING SURFACE & SUB-SURFACE DATA AVAILABILITY & VALIDITY UNCERTAIN SUB-SURFACE LATEST CONDITION UNCERTAIN BOTTOM HOLE TARGET LOCATION HAZARDOUS WORKING ENVIRONMENT (GAS, SUBSIDENCE, ETC) HIGH FLOW RATE OF FORMATION WATER BLOW-OUT ESTIMATED DRILLING COSTS = $ 200 MM FOR 3 WELLS NOTE: NON-TECHNICAL CHALLENGES WILL BE DISCUSSED AND HANDLED SEPARATELY
