2 Vocabulary Game: 20 Questions Rules of 20 Questions General: On the back of a blank sheet of paper, write down an important vocabulary term from the lesson and/or from the reading. Do not share that term with others. When done, tape the term to a peer’s back (so that he/she cannot see it but others can). When Asking Questions: 1)Yes or No questions only; Yes or No answers only 2)You can only ask each person two questions before you must move on to other peers/students When Answering Questions: 1)You may look up answers if you do not know them or you can ask the teacher (do not make up answers) 2)You may give your peers additional hints if they get stuck 3)As you answer questions, mark this on the sheet of the person asking the question (keep a running tab of how many questions that person has asked) When asking questions, use Hierarchies of Order (see next slide) © 2014, John W.
