18 Positive Self-Talk  If you think you can or think you can’t, your right!  You will always move in the direction of your dominating thought.  Positive self talk helps to calm the emotional brain and move it into more logical, rational thought.  Be assertive – say what you want! Page 7

22 Tone Up to Tune Up! 1. I do not smoke (anything). 2. I sleep six to eight hours each night and wake up refreshed. 3. I exercise five times per week for at least 60 minutes per session. 4. I eat breakfast everyday. 5. I am within five pounds of my ideal weight. 6. I limit between-meal snacking, choosing fresh fruits and vegetables over high salt, sugar and fat. 7. I have seven or fewer alcoholic drinks per week. Page 10
