6 Your challenge this year … Write a bedtime story to inspire a new generation of Mighty Girls. Challenge the stereotypes, break the mould, teach the young women of the future to reach for the stars! Your story should be no more than 1000 words long (it could be much shorter). You can provide illustrations for it (but you don’t have to).

7 Be inspired ….

8 You could … Retell a traditional fairy tale; Make up an original story or fairy tale; Tell the story of a real and inspiring woman in your own words. Write a story that shows how little girls can do important, exciting and amazing things.

9 Prizes All successful entrants will have their work included in a collection: ‘Stories for Mighty Girls’ which will be edited, printed and sold in school to raise money for Bookaid. 1 st Prize: Kindle 2 Runner up prizes: £20 book tokens Closing Date – Friday 15 th April 2016
