2 Where was it? When did it happen? What happened that day? Why is it important? Which event was about to be celebrated? How significant was the day?

3 Palm Sunday Many people had come to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover. To remember what happened in Egypt. Many lambs would be sacrificed, but the one true Passover Lamb (John 1:29), would be coming.

8 Palm Sunday Prophecy fulfilled Zechariah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

22 Palm Sunday The King will return again for all who own Him as Lord and Saviour.

23 Palm Sunday Give thought this week to this day and on the events of the days to follow. They are very important and very challenging to all. Make sure you can rejoice on Resurrection Sunday

24 Palm Sunday Matthew 28:6-7 6 He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.”
