6. Launching of ECCE Curriculum “Nua Arunima” The revised package was launched on 29 th April 2013 Rolled out across the state – all AWCs /Projects/ Districts

Nua Arunima Curriculum framework Result of extensive consultations, workshops & vetting of materials by experts  Developed standardized CURRICULLUM FRAMEWORK  Lays down QUALITY STANDARDS  Provision for ADEQUATE and APPROPRIATE play material.  Child DEVELOPMENTAL MILESTONE monitoring to be conducted in every 3 rd, 6 th, 9 th and 12th month.  Provision for comprehensive childcare support, infrastructure and services.  Develop capacity and resources of the ICDS functionaries  Raise awareness and create common understanding.  Recognize diversity of context, develop and promote culturally appropriate strategies.
