Of the Fortune 250, there are only seven CEOs that are minorities, and of the thousands of publicly traded companies today, only two are chaired by black women. Mellody is one of them. She is chair of the board for Dreamworks Animation and the president of Ariel Investments, a money management firm.

Poll the audience. Say the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the term 20th Century Student. When we think of the 21st Century Student our minds tend to shift to technology. But being a 21st Century Student involves so much more than just being technologically savvy. Do you think of these topics when you think of a 21st Century Student? 21st Century Skills require Global Awareness and Civic Literacy. These are the topics I look forward to discussing MY son. Because these topic, are EQUALLY as important, as any CORE Subject.
