2. Public and private worship. I am going to assign you a paragraph from pages 18- 19. Your task is to read through the paragraph and summarise it in one sentence. When you have done this come and write it on the board. (10 mins)

3. Symbolism, art and music. Pages 20-21 Make revision cards for yourself of the different symbols used in worship: You have 10 minutes for this task. Crucifix Symbol of the death and resurrection of Jesus

4. Watch the bitesize clips and pick out aspects of belief that are reflected in the art that you see and music that you hear.

5. Write a quiz with 20 questions on it on prayer and meditation, food and fasting (pages 22-25). Write an answer sheet for your quiz. Test someone else with your quiz. You have 20 minutes for this task

6. Exam question: a)What is prayer? (1 mark) b)Name two places in which a Christian might worship. (2 marks) c)How do Christians worship? (3 marks) d)Why do some Christians fast? (6 marks) e)“Everyone should thank God for their food” Discuss this statement. You should include different, supported points of view and a personal viewpoint. You must refer to Christianity in your answer. (12 marks) You have 30 minutes to answer these questions. We will do this in silence on our own. I will mark these for next lesson.
