3. What is Title I ? The Title I program is a federally funded program that allows our school to use Title I funds to pay for services and programs that are utilized by all students at our school.

4. Who benefits from Title I funding? All students benefit from the use of Title I funds. Title I funds help support extra instruction in reading and math, as well as after-school and summer programs to extend and reinforce regular school curriculum.

Examples of Services & Programs Title I services and programs that can help improve your child’s education. – Tutorials ( Saturday School for STAAR preparation) – Summer school (Grades 1-4) – Workshops for teachers & parents – Technology Upgrades (PCs and laptops) – Teaching Materials (Reading & Math) – School Support Staff (Instructional Specialist for Interventions)
