How to become a Psychologist To become registered in Qld requires: Completion of an accredited Honours degree + 2 year supervised experience (Note the Assessment, Counselling & Abnormal psych must be studied in the 3 rd or 4 th year of the degree). OR completion of an an approved Masters Coursework program such as the Master of Psychology (Health or Clinical) offered at USQ.
