3. Business Support Service - Background 3 The team is staffed by a specialist team of apprenticeship advisers who support employers who are interested in recruiting an apprentice. 5. Performance (April 15 – March 16) 5 The team handled 26,137 employer leads 56% of those employers were referred to a training organisation Created 10,586 apprentice starts (41% of all employer leads)
