17 Max your battery life Set the sleep timer to 10-minutes. Turn down screen brightness. Restart daily Max the battery life by closing apps you are not using. Drain it once a month

18 Settings To access “Quick Settings,” swipe down from the top right of the screen by the clock. To access the “full” settings screen, touch the Settings icon. Here you can access the Wi-Fi and accessibility settings. Some settings are locked to prevent unauthorized changes.

19 Connecting to Wi-Fi At school, you’ll connect to your school’s wireless network. Make sure you have a good signal and that the network status icon is blue. If the status icon is gray, you may have problems with the class tools and certain apps.

On the Wi-Fi page, you’ll see a list of networks. 2.Touch a network you recognize. 3.If a password is required, enter the password and touch Connect. – or – If you’re at home and your router supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), touch the WPS icon at the top right of the screen and then press the WPS button on your router.

Although you can install apps from the Google Play Store, students can only run apps your school has approved. If you try to open an unapproved app from the Play Store, an “Enable” option will appear and you will not be able open the app.

22 Using the internet The tablet has two web browser apps: Browser and Chrome. You can use either one. The internet is always filtered to ensure inappropriate content isn’t displayed. When you’re at home, you’ll see a key icon at the top right of the screen, indicating you’re on a secure connection to Amplify’s internet content filter. At school, your tablet uses the school’s content filter. ChromeBrowser
