What I Did For my Extra credit, I went to a Salvadoran restaurant in Troy called El Guanaco. I ordered the Salvadorian Style Bistec and my dad ordered the Carne Masada, but we decided to switch dishes when we ate. I am going to talk about the dish that my dad got because I like it better than the one I got.

Food Information: Salvadoran Style Bistec Bistec Encebollado (the general version) is mainly a dish that originated in Puerto Rico. It is now commonly eaten in El Salvador. That is why it was served at the Salvadoran restaurant. The name Bistec Encebollado actually means “Steak smothered in onions”. This is an actual picture of the food that I ate at the restaurant.
