10 www.saicm.org 10 Conclusion SAICM is an ambitious new policy initiative that breaks new ground in terms of its comprehensiveness, multi-stakeholder engagement and broad support. Caribbean countries have an opportunity to use SAICM as an international policy framework for their chemicals management activities and to get support for such activities.
