2. CUB Status – Boiler #1 ON LINE CB Kramer due in to Wire in second recirculating Pump and install NFPA 70E mitigations – Boiler #2 OFF, has been tested and is available – CUB Cooling Towers- Fill and Fan Sections Need Repair or Replacement, $43,000/Cell to Repair, $80,000 to Replace

4. CUB Status (Cont.) Cooling Tower #7 Leaking at Seams, Contractor called in to assess, quote received, repairs to be scheduled. HX3 (LinAcc Heat Exchanger) small leak in ¾” LCW piping – will Chiller #2: Attempt to return Process Chiller #2 to Service on 12/26/12 failed, resulted in LinAcc Chiller #3 Start up and return to Service of Process Chiller #4. – Trane has replaced Purge Pump Wednesday, testing WIP

5. Tritium In Sewers (cont.) Tritium in the Sewers Source Identified as CUB Softener Hach Sampler Discharges and Softener Backwash – FESS/OPs Engineering has captured effluent and re-piped to Cooling Tower Sump Tank.

9. Mechanical – F3 Manhole- Sump Replacement, parts received, to be scheduled during Shutdown – PV07- MI60 Pump Vault 7, 150 Hp. Pond Pump Suction Valve won’t close, requires shutdown of both Pumps to repair Pump, replace valve, (need schedule for repair).

10. Electrical Casey’s Pond 400 HP Pump #3 Motor has faulted due to Bearing Failure caused by Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). – Spare 400 HP out for EDM upgrades Sci Ed Ctr. FDR 44 Outage completed 12/1/12. – 900 amp Switchboard Breaker Found Faulted, replaced yesterday during planned Power Outage.

11. High Voltage/ Beam-line Maintenance Work – PM Lab A North Area, Labs A,B,C,D,E,F,G Affects NMS/Cryostat Bldg. Coordinate with Paul Allcorn Need to Coordinate with Rick Ford for Sci Det Complex.

12. Site 29 Power Outage Cable Faulted on Fermilab side of Feed from Batavia to West Wilson Road Guard Shack and Site 29 on Thursday, 1/3/13. Site 29 Emergency circuits on E Gen till ~1600 hrs. on 1/4/13 Deployed MUT for portable heat to Guard Shack High Voltage Engineering Contractor repaired faulted Cable Splice

13. FESS/OPs Maintenance Utility Trailer (MUT) Trailer Ventilation – Heating/Cooling, 60,000 BTU Compressed Air – 5.2 CFM@100 psi Work/Safety/Traffic Control Lighting Submersible/Centrifugal Pump Generator – 30 Amps Jib hoist – 500 lbs

18. FESS/Ops Engineering VHSC01 Dom water Break, complete Meson Cryo Hyd. #82 Leak – Requires shutdown of ICW to Meson Cryo, MTest, Cryo notified, awaiting scheduling/coordination PIV 237 Leak between MINOS and MINIBOONE, Completed MI20 Repairing Faulty ICW Sectional Valve MI08 ICW Break, affects Fire Protection and Hydrants.
