A LITTLE ABOUT ME … I grew up in the small town of Wellsville and attended Northern York School District. This is my 4 rd year teaching at Spring Grove. I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education. I will graduate in December with my masters in Special Education with a concentration in Learning Disabilities at Shippensburg University.

C LASSROOM E XPECTATIONS Listen carefully Follow directions Work quietly. Do not disturb others who are working Respect school and personal property. Be responsible **If an expectation is broken it will result in: 1. Retraining 2. Retraining 3. Parent notification/Retraining 4. Lunch Detention/Retraining

C LASSROOM R OUTINES The support period is for the following: Math/Reading/Writing Support Organization skills Projects/Study Pd. 11 Support (Days 3,4,6) This period will be used as homework time as long as students have attempted the work. Pd. 4 is not for homework! Reading/Math PSSA Prep (Days 1,5)

P OINT S HEETS /P ROGRESS REPORTS Point Sheets will be sent home daily with your child. Please take a look at the Point Sheet and sign it where indicated. This should be returned daily. Every other Friday a Progress Report will be sent home with your student’s updated grades. Please take a look at the progress report, sign it, and feel free to write any comments that I can take a look at. Students are to return the signed progress reports on Monday when returning back to school.

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION If a student does not receive a 70% or higher on a test, they will be retaught and retested on the material until they earn a 70%

B ELL R INGER Take the half sheet of paper on your desk and write insulting remarks on it. Crumple the paper into a tight ball, step on it, squeeze it, but do not rip it. Uncrumple the paper, apologize to it, and flatten it out the best you can

O DDS AND E NDS PE Teachers have a table set up outside of the gymnasium where you can purchase a gym uniform. Rocket Period Questions?
