Key info about cho Tet At George Mason High School 7124 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22043 Saturday February 10, 2007 9 AM to 4 PM VYEA/VYO/100Flowers already registered Performance Booth with electricity This is the only Cho Tet event for us Others on the 17 and 18 not optimal

100 Flowers Performances Partipant in Contest ($300/$200/$100 prizes) In contact with organizers regarding rules We will add singer(s) as needed to qualify Combined band, a single song for contest –Costumed (Viet, Korean, Japanese, “American”) –Bassoon, Flute, Drums, Violins, Cello, other strings Two bands for additional on-floor performances –Small orchestra (Violins, Cello, other strings) –Small band (Bassoon, Flute, Drums, Violins)

100 Flowers Performance Music for Contest: One song being arranged –Hoa Xuan Ca: Spring song, nice upbeat music with Viet and English lyrics Music for floor performances –Two TBD songs by Small Band –Two TBD songs by Small Orchestra Technical issues –On-stage contest performance will be OK –On-floor performances will be mainly for visual (environment is too loud to hear music properly)

Chợ Tết Logistics Already reserved a booth for the Feb 10 GM with electricity outlet There will be at least 3 thầy cô at the booth Identify Students to be the face of VYEA/VYO/100 Flowers for the event 2006 VYEA/VYO DVDs available for sale Pictures Panels of past VYEA/VYO perf. DVD/monitor playing the DVD (mute)
